DESIGN

With a foundation from The Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Design and Conservation, I transform both physical spaces and visual identities through thoughtful design. My approach respects architectural heritage and modern living needs while creating harmonious visual expressions that communicate effectively. Whether redesigning a room or crafting graphic elements, I blend design with functionality to create solutions that aim to enhance both aesthetics and purpose in everyday life.

SPATIAL DESIGN

Portfolio: Spatial Transformations

Where thoughtful listening meets spatial design, transforming spaces with attention to both architectural heritage and modern living needs.

Knudtzon

- Reconstruction: New Roof & Windows Drawing for municipal application for a roof renovation project, adding new dormers and interior space optimization, while respecting the old award-winning architecture.

03

Skov

- New Bathroom, Kitchen & Space Distribution

Drawing of new kitchen, bathroom, and room layout in Frederiksberg apartment, for obtaining quotes from contractors and municipal application. The plumber required precise drawings - both plan and elevation views showing placement of fixtures for bathroom and sink to provide cost estimates.

05

Jørgensen

- New Extension, Terrace & Garden

70m² addition in 1.5 stories with living room, bedroom, bathroom, office, and loft, plus surrounding garden and terraces that needed to be a "continuation" of the original 1930s villa.

07

Larsen-Mærsk

- Color Selection for New Kitchen and Floors

Visualization of color ideas for walls and varnished floors in newly purchased house where owners hadn't yet moved in and lived 70 km away. The 8m high ceilings made it difficult to find natural boundaries for the painted wall, as only a small area needed painting. Dark varnishing of floors was considered. Visualizations helped owners make decisions from a distance.

Just

- New Terrace/Pergola

Elevation views with style suggestions for new half-roof/pergola over the terrace. The roof needed to provide shelter without casting too much shade inside the house. The style had to match the existing newly renovated house. Flowers and climbing plants needed good conditions.

Skovdal

- Bedroom Color Selection

Visualizations of 3 almost identical paint tones for bedroom wall. The area was small but the choice was difficult.

13

Bay

- Apartment Renovation

Layout of 70m² apartment to be transformed from 3 rooms to 4, accommodating mother and 2 children while maintaining unrestricted cooking space. New kitchen was established in the living room, allowing the old kitchen to be converted into a children's bedroom. The living room became a large kitchen-dining room with ample cabinet and counter space, plus large 8-person dining table in the center. This was prioritized over large living/sofa area, which instead became a cozy 120x120 sofa module in the bay window overlooking the park.

14

Buchhorst

- 1930s villa authentic renovation
New windows were designed with period-specific mullion patterns to match original architecture. In rooms where historic features had been lost, new elements were carefully added to echo the 1930s character. Kitchen and bathroom were modernized while incorporating authentic details and materials that complemented existing period features, creating consistency throughout the villa. Detailed drawings ensured all new elements,

Henrichsen

- Garden & Courtyard Design Complete design of an intimate outdoor space featuring elevated flower beds for easy maintenance, wooden deck, meandering pathway, and water feature. Materials were carefully selected to complement the house architecture, creating a cohesive and manageable garden environment.

02

Behrens

- New Bathroom

Visualization of various tile options under consideration and assistance with interior layout; placement of elements and optimal use of space without making it too cramped, while considering existing plumbing.

04

Klausen

- Facade Renovation/New Multi-pane Windows

Proposals for various options for multi-pane windows in an old merchant shop - premises were simultaneously being renovated and modernized into office space. It was important to find a solution that restored the previous style and better harmonized with the building's older architectural expression.

06

Høj

- New Windows - Shape and Mullions

Drawing of facades with new window shapes and doors to ensure harmony in expression. Windows needed to have arched tops in various sizes, and it was important that the arches and dimensions harmonized.

08

Roslyng

- New Kitchen Layout

Floor plan and material suggestions for new kitchen, where the family wished to maintain the atmosphere of the original architecture but needed to remove the floor to install heating. Additionally, the room was difficult to furnish due to its location and load-bearing walls, and they wanted to accommodate as many people as possible in the kitchen simultaneously.

10

Kayser

- New Terrace

Drawing of terraces, cozy corners, bridges, shed, evening dining area, and access areas. While construction was already underway for the new house, it was smart to design the layout of terraces that needed to be lowered. An old but sound shed (used for beer brewing) was saved from demolition to the husband's delight, as it could serve as an important link to the kitchen garden and evening terrace.

12

Fisker

- Ideas for New Extension

5 Proposals for different options for 1.5-story extension of classic yellow brick villa from the 1940s. The father/client wished to preserve light from basement windows, maintain as much of the backyard as possible while building maximum possible extension, in a style that matched the house and with good utilization of existing space, before approaching an architect.

14

Pedersen

- Apartment Renovation

A detailed drawing of the bathroom of only 2 square meters ensured all elements including fixtures were placed perfectly at comfortable heights, and tiles with their grouting and cuts were perfectly centered/symmetrical in relation to each other, creating maximum tranquility in the cramped space.

15

Schade

- House Color Visualization Visualization of facade color options, specifically for wooden elements around the roof, helping owners make an informed decision about the new paint color before committing to the change.

17

Estate agent

- Property Potential Visualizations Visualizations demonstrating the hidden potential of various properties: one focused on maximizing coastal views through large window openings and expansive deck addition, another through garden redesign possibilities - helping potential buyers envision the true possibilities of each property.
